There are three things that play an important role in getting big and that is diet, training, and genetics. When it comes to diet supplementations is important, if you train hard you need to ensure your body and muscles are getting the right nutrients.

There are a few supplements that can help you grow and get big. When you are just starting out, it's a good idea to get your feet wet with some of the basics.

Whey Protein is what is considered a complete protein, it contains all 9 essential amino acids and is low in lactose. For those people who are lactose intolerant, this makes the perfect protein supplement. One of the benefits of whey protein is its ability to improve protein synthesis in the muscle, if you are a bodybuilder whey protein is a supplement that should not be overlooked.



Pre-workout, post-workout and Intra workout supplements

Pre-workout supplements are a common supplement used by bodybuilders, many of them contain stimulants and creatine to get you pumped up for your workout, not all pre-workout supplements are the same, many contain fillers and are just loaded with caffeine. When looking for a pre-workout supplement it's important to look for one with quality ingredients, many of them contain creatine, whey protein, vitamins, and minerals that do more than just get you amped up for your training.

Intra-workout supplements are usually a drink you sip on while training, this helps maintain energy levels and helps prevent fatigue. A lot of people go to the gym feeling strong, but after a few sets, the energy is zapped. Intra-workout supplements can help prevent this.

Post-Workout Supplements are also important, after heavy training, your body required glycogen. what a lot of people do not know is that feeding your body the right nutrients after you train makes a big difference. In fact, studies have shown that glycogen absorption right after you train is around 5% a couple of hours later this drops to 2%, taking an intra-workout after you train is perfect for ensuring proper glycogen replacement.
